Welcome!

I’m Erin

Food blogger & content Creator

Welcome to my food blog! I love cooking, baking, eating good food, and most of all sharing it with others šŸ™‚

I’m passionate about trying new things in the kitchen, learning about different cuisines and techniques, and sharing recipes that I genuinely love with others.

Behind the blog

How it all started

I’ve always been a huge foodie! Growing up, my mom, who is the best cook I know, made sure I was always well fed, maybe even a little too well fed. Being surrounded by good food naturally made me curious, and I eventually wanted to try cooking and baking for myself.

What started as curiosity quickly turned into something I genuinely fell in love with. I began experimenting in the kitchen and learning through trial and error, which eventually led me to start a small home bakery, @saltery.atx, where I shared my love for salt bread with my local community.

I wanted a way to share that love for baking and cooking even more, and social media became that outlet. I’m not a professionally trained chef, just someone who loves experimenting, learning new cuisines and techniques, and sharing what I discover along the way. One day, I hope to turn Saltery into a brick-and-mortar bakery and pursue formal culinary or pastry training. Until then, I hope you’ll explore my recipes and follow along on the journey.

FAQ

Not yet, but it’s definitely a dream of mine! For now, all of my recipes are completely free right here on the blog. I want everyone to be able to cook delicious food without any barriers, so you’ll always find the full recipes here. A cookbook is something I hope to create one day, so stay tuned!

What camera do you use to film?

I actually film everything on my iPhone! I recently upgraded to the iPhone 17 Pro and the camera quality is really good! I honestly don’t think you need a fancy professional camera to create beautiful food content. Good lighting makes the biggest difference, and the rest is just practice!

I seriously started about 2 years ago when I decided to give social media a real shot, and it kind of just took off from there! What started as a fun way to share recipes I was already making at home turned into something so much bigger than I ever expected. I’m so grateful for everyone who has been along for the ride!

I’d love to collaborate! You can reach out via my contact page, email us at teamerin@underscoretalent.com, or send me a DM on Instagram @erinscozykitchen. I’m always open to brand partnerships, sponsored content, and other exciting opportunities!
